You can
highlight passages by pressing and then dragging on the screen and then tapping
highlight form the menu that pop-up. The highlights gets saved on the device

Customize the
interface
Just open
the tool bar and from there tap the Aa icon this lets you change the font size,
font style margins, and line spacing .Also through Settings, Device Options,
Personalize Your Kindle and Advanced Options you can go back to the old home
screen layout that display your current library and if you want any help in
customizing take Kindle help.

Reset your reading
speed
If you are
in the middle of the book then you can see the estimate time you’ll take to
reach the end based on your previous reading speed and you can also reset the
reading time in case you left your Kindle idle for a short time or you fall
asleep. It doesn’t matter because you will be able to reset the time. Just go
to search field and type the phrase ReadingTimeReset in capitals.

Improve
vocabulary
As you might be aware that
you can get the meaning of the word after a long press. But if you want to
review these words later you can choose Vocabulary
Builder from the front screen menu.

Take screenshots
You can
take screenshot with your Kindle simply tap simultaneously in two diagonally
opposite corners i.e. Bottom-right to top left) to take a screenshot.

You can
connect instapaper and pocket to your Kindle and send articles straight to your
Kindle. Amazon itself offers official extension tools for Chrome and Firefox

You can
